Features of the Vapor-logic® Version 6 control board:
- New multi-color status LEDs speed troubleshooting and indicate the following:
- Alarms and/or diagnostic messages that could prevent the unit from operating
- Need for humidification
- Communication status to the display
- An additional LED indicates whether the display is supplied with power.
- The red control board is easy to recognize and has been updated with new components to ensure future performance and reliability.
- It is backwards compatible with the Vapor-logic controllers versions 5 and 4 and has all the functions.
Upgrades to the Vapor-Logic control system for air humidification systems
The DriSteem Vapor-logic controller version 6 is available as an upgrade kit so that older DriSteem humidifiers can take full advantage of our latest controller. The kit contains everything needed for the upgrade.

- Interoperability enables communication with building automation systems via Modbus®, BACnet® or LonTalk® protocols
- The web interface offers the option of setting up, displaying and adjusting humidifier functions via Ethernet either directly or remotely via a network.
- The USB port allows for easy firmware updates and the ability to backup and restore data.
- PID control allows the system to be tuned for maximum performance.
- Real-time clock allows tracking of alarms and time-stamped messages as well as accurate scheduling and flushing.
- Programmable outputs enable remote signaling and device activation.
- Advanced diagnostics include a test output function to verify component operation and a test humidifier function to simulate humidifier demand to validate performance.
- An additional temperature sensor/transmitter enables monitoring of the air temperature, for example in a duct, and enables temperature equalization to prevent condensation on the window.
